Basic Rider Course $225.00

Want to learn how to ride a motorcycle safely in a controlled environment with professionally trained instructors who are enthusiastic about riding and teaching others to ride safely, and who will provide the motorcycles to train you?

Would you also like after successful completion of a Motorcycle Safety Course be able to go into the Tennessee D.M.V. and hand them a certificate that exempts you from taking the written and riding requirements to get your Tennessee motorcycle license?

Student Discount

For Students 15 years of age and older who currently hold a “B” average or better and can prove it, there is a $25.00 discount for the Basic Rider Course.*

Military Discount

For anyone who has served our country in the past there is a $25.00 Discount for the Basic Rider Course.* For the brave men and women who are in the Reserves, your branch will pay for the B.R.C.! Please contact your commanding officer for more information on your branch paying for the Basic Rider Course

*Student and Military Discounts cannot be used together. You must provide valid proof with registration form to get discount.

Experienced Rider Course Class Times

This class takes one day:

Saturday 8:00 AM to around 6:00 PM

Please note: These hours are TENTATIVE and may vary, due to class size, rate of progression, and weather.

Experienced Rider Course $100.00

Already know how to ride but would like to enhance your skills and test your abilities, plus get 10% off your TN motorcycle liability insurance? What about our brave men and women in the armed services? Anyone who is currently active duty or who has served our country in the past there is a $10.00 discount for the Experienced Rider Course.*

Previous Graduates of the Basic Rider Course

Anyone who graduates from the Basic Rider Course taught by A.R.E.P. in Kingsport, TN will get $10.00 off the Experienced Rider Course if taken within one year of their B.R.C. completion date.*

Advanced Rider Course $100.00

If you are experienced rider who loves speed, curves, and adrenalin we welcome you to take our Advanced Motorcycle Safety Course. This course is new and was originally invented by the military with emphasis on sport bikes, but all bikes are welcomed to come experience this exciting and challenging course. Courses run several times from April to September and are taught by the owner, Jim Cook on his Hayabusa.

If you and your buddies would like to take the Advanced Rider Course please call Jim Cook at the above number and if you have at least five or six people in your group we will be more than happy to make a class just for your individual group! (You must own your own bike and have ATLEAST 2,000 recent miles along with proper gear.)
